Google has confirmed its new plans for both YouTube and Google Play Music: YouTube is set to launch a ‘ YouTube Music Key‘ service and Google Play Music All Access is going to be rebranded as Google Play Music Key, reports Android Police.
The new You Tube music key service will offer ad-free music, audio-only mode, offline playback, background/screen-off listening and much more. Initially, it offer a 30-day free trial to start, after then users will pay USD 9.99/month for access over 20 million tracks.
The service’s availability and launch date is still undisclosed, but, in June, Google said it will go live with its music offering this summer. Also, the company is in talks to acquire Long Island City-based music curation and streaming service, Songza for a deal amount of USD 15 million
