HTC Plans to Launch its Zoe App to Other Android Devices This Week

HTC is planning to launch its video-clip making service called Zoe for all Android Devices. The news was first confirmed by Re/code and quickly revealed by Drew Bamford, the head of HTC’s user interface team. The app is expected to launch this week and the company will allow the other smartphones to run the Zoe app.
Zoe automatically creates video clips featuring photos and snippets from a user’s camera roll, applies a soundtrack and transitions to these highlight reels.

The app is developed by the HTC Creative Labs, which is also working on bringing a second app to other Android phones, but the company didn’t reveal the more information.
Re/code says that later this week a beta version of the Zoe app will be available on the Google Play with limited number of video editing tools. The concept behind Zoe is rather straightforward. Users can compile up to 16 video clips and still images, select a theme, and add a music track, and the software creates a highlight-reel video of up to 30 seconds, explains Re/code.
Further Re/code explains that HTC is partnering with people from the music and sports world to help promote the new Zoe app. Recently HTC has launched the One (M8) and now after 5 months later, it is ready to launch its first cross-Android app.
